Prince George Spruce Kings forward Justin Rai is the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 12, the league announced Monday.
Rai helped the Spruce Kings to a doubleheader sweep of the visiting Surrey Eagles and produced four goals, including a hat trick, and an assist along the way.
The native of Surrey, B.C. opened with a goal and an assist in a 3rd Star showing and followed that up with a hat trick, completed on the overtime winner, to take 1st Star the next night.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound 19-year-old has established new highs in goals, assists and points this season.
