Steelers’ Thomas named MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week

Parker Thomas is the model of consistency ─ which has earned him the MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week award for the week ending January 12th.

The Steeler veteran recorded eight points (1-7) in three games last week, extending his points streak to 10 consecutive games. Thomas, 20, also leads the MJHL points race with 25 goals and 71 points after 39 games.

Thanks to the outstanding efforts of Thomas and his teammates, Steelers are riding a 13-game winning streak which has pushed the club to top spot in the Addison Division with 33 wins and 68 points.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Warren Callis of the Winnipeg Blues and 19 year old goaltender Michael Stiliadis of the Dauphin Kings.
