Tigers acquire 16-year-old goaltender Nick Schneider

Medicine Hat, AB – Medicine Hat Tigers announce today they have traded 19-year-old forward Logan McVeigh and 18-year-old goaltender Daniel Wapple to the Regina Pats.

In return, the Tigers will receive 16-year-old goaltender NICK SCHNEIDER who is in his first WHL season. As well, Medicine Hat receives a 3rd round pick in the 2016 WHL bantam draft.

Schneider, the 6’ 2”, 165 lbs native of Leduc, AB has appeared in nine games this season with the Pats. He has posted a 3.56 goals against average and a save percentage of 0.87. Nick spent last season with the PAC Saints of the AMMHL appearing in 14 games with a goals against average of 2.77 and save percentage of 0.926.

“We would like to thank Logan and Daniel for their time and contributions to the Tigers and wish them all the best in Regina,” stated Tigers’ general manager/head coach Shaun Clouston.
