Wings Tender Minnesota Standout

Press Release

The Aberdeen Wings are proud to announce that Brandon Notermann has signed a tender contract with the team for the upcoming 2014-2015 season.

Wings Associate Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Francis Anzalone made the announcement official prior to team practice on Thursday.

"Brandon Notermann plays the game with the passion and grit necessary for individual and team success. He skates hard, sees the ice well and displays a willingness to go to the hard areas of the rink," Anzalone said.  "We have evaluated Brandon multiple times in various settings and always see these same attributes. He will be a very important piece for us in 14-15."

Notermann, a 5-11, 165 lb forward currently plays for Blaine High School in Blaine, Minnesota.  Last year, the senior forward tallied 24 goals and 29 assists while spending time with his high school team and the Minnesota Elite Metro Northwest team. This season with Blaine High School, he is currently tied for leading scorer with 10 goals and 17 assists.  He is also tied for 4th most points in his entire division. The Blaine Bengals are 10-3-1 so far this season.

"We are fortunate to have Brandon on board with us.  This is a player our staff has been familiar with for the past two seasons and we look forward to helping him fulfill his goals," Head Coach Travis Winter added.
