Canmore Eagles defenceman Trey Phillips is the Alberta Dodge Dealers
AJHL Player of the Month for January 2014. Phillips scored 3 goals and
12 assists in nine games throughout January to extend his current point
streak to 12 games and a total of 19 points. He also received the Pro
Hockey Life Player of the Game Award four times in January.
The 20 year-old leads all AJHL defencemen in scoring and is 9th overall
in the AJHL Scoring Race with 52 points. Trey also leads the Eagles in
scoring during his 4th and final season with the franchise. Phillips
is averaging 1.1 points per game and has scored 10 powerplay goals, 19
powerplay assists and 4 game winning goals.
Trey Phillips (Okotoks, AB) is committed to the University of Vermont for the 2013-2014 season.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League is pleased to partner with the Alberta
Dodge Dealer Association and will recognize the AJHL Player of the
Month throughout the AJHL season.
