Vancouver Giants’ Head Coach Don Hay registered his 604th career regular season win, passing Lorne Molleken for second-place for all-time wins by a coach, as the Giants beat the Red Deer Rebels 3-2 in overtime Tuesday night at the Pacific Coliseum.
With the victory, Hay now ranks second in the Western Hockey League’s list for all-time coaching wins with 604. Ken Hodge has the most with 742.
Hay currently has the most wins amongst active coaches in the WHL.
