It's been a good week for St. Louis Jr. Blues and NA3HL forward Andrew McGlynn.
The 16-year-old from St. Louis was named to the NA3HL Central Division
Top Prospects team over the weekend and capped it off with a tender
offer from the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL.
McGlynn was outstanding in front of the Springfield coach in
attendance this past weekend when he notched four points in two games
including a goal and two assists in a 4-3 loss.
Head Coach Chris Flaugher said, "Andy has continued to improve all
season. Even as a 16-year-old, he can play with finesse and grit,
depending on the situation.”
McGlynn is 5th in overall team scoring, but 3rd in points per game
averaging just at a point a game. In 29 games played this season,
McGlynn has 30 points, which includes 15 goals and 15 assists. He leads
the team in game-winning goals with four. McGlynn hopes to play NCAA
Division I hockey in the future.
McGlynn is the second player from this year’s Jr. Blues squad to sign an NAHL tender and seventh NA3HL player overall.
