BREAKING NEWS: Benoit Groulx Leaves Gatineau

The Gatineau Olympiques have learned tonight that their head coach, Benoit Groulx, has taken the head coaching position with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Not only does he leave as the Gatineau Olympiques bench boss, he was going to be the bench boss of the Canadian World Junior Squad. The tournament takes place basically across the street in Ottawa.

I will have more later on tomorrow either here or on “The Asylum.”
