More College Commitments

Colin Shea of the Boston Junior Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) has committed to the University of Massachusetts for either the 2009 or 2010 season. The 6'2 defenseman has a goal and two assists in nine contests this season. The Minutemen has three recruits coming in next season. Rocco Carzo (Des Moines Buccaneers USHL), Eric Filiou (Nanaimo BCHL), and Anthony Raiola (North Iowa NAHL).

New Hampshire Junior Monarch's Aaron Kesselman has committed to the Princeton Tigers for the 2011 season. Kesselman who recently turned 17 has two goals and three assists in seven games. Zach Hyman also a Princeton recruit, will either be going to Princeton in 2010 or 2011. He's currently with the Hamilton Red Wings of the Ontario Provinical Junior "A" Hockey League.

Darcy Oakes who plays for the Powell River Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League has committed to the Quinnipac Bobcats for next season. This season the 20-year-old has 15 goals and 14 assists in 17 games. He's the seventh recruit from the British Columbia Hockey League for next season. He joins Zach Davies (Prince George), Connor and Kellen Jones (Vernon), Zach Currie and Brooks Robinson who both play for Cowichan Valley, and Colin Lidster (Salmon Arm)
