Windsor back on top

CHL Top Ten

TORONTO, Wednesday, January 21, 2009 – The Canadian Hockey League today announced its most recent CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 rankings for the 2008-09 season.

Four Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams managed to crack the upper echelon of the CHL: The Shawinigan Cataractes, the Moncton Wildcats, the Quebec Remparts and the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

1. Windsor Spitfires (39-5-0-1)
2. Calgary Hitmen (40-7-1-1)
3. Shawinigan Cataractes (37-9-2-0)
4. Vancouver Giants (37-4-0-3)
5. London Knights (34-8-0-2)
6. Moncton Wildcats (34-6-2-3)
7. Quebec Remparts (35-8-0-3)
8. Belleville Bulls (29-13-2-2)
9. Drummondville Voltigeurs (35-8-0-3)
10. Saskatoon Blades (32-11-3-1)
