Kelowna evens the series up

ROCKETS BLANK GIANTS TO EVEN UP SERIES – Jamie Benn scored once and added an assist and Mark Guggenberger made 14 saves as the Kelowna Rockets beat the visiting Vancouver Giants 3-0 in Game 4 of the Kal Tire WHL Western Conference Championship series on Thursday, April 23rd.

Ian Duval opened the scoring 7:15 into the second period for the Rockets, who held the Giants to just six shots on goal over the final two periods of the game, while Lucas Bloodoff also scored. With the win, the Rockets tie the best-of-seven series at 2-2.

Tyson Sexsmith made 31 saves for the Giants, who have been outshot in three of the four games in the series, so far.

The Giants will host Game 5 of the Kal Tire WHL Western Conference Championship series on Saturday, April 25th.

Best-of-seven series tied 2-2.
