Crushers keep assistants

Press Release

The Weeks Crushers are proud to announce the return of two key ingredients from last season in coaches Jeff Green and Chad McDavid. Both assistant coaches from Pictou County confirmed their return for a second season behind the Crushers bench with new Head Coach Troy Dumville. " We are very fortunate to have two solid hockey people like Jeff and Chad" ackowledged Dumville. " Junior hockey is a big commitment and it can be challenging to find experienced people. The Crushers are lucky to have two quality individuals who have a passion for the game." added Dumville.

The Crushers were also busy yesterday on the hockey operations side, adding former Bridgewater GM/Head Coach Tim Boyce to the role of Head Scout. "Tim brings experience and knowledge to the organization and will be a big asset at the draft and at trade deadline" said Dumville.

The Crushers are busy preparing for next weekend's MJAHL Draft being held in Amherst. While the Crushers do not have a pick in the first round, they will be active with 6 picks before the end of the 3rd round.
