Bruins Development Camp

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins announced today the schedule and media information for the team’s third annual Development Camp, which will take place July 7 - July 11 at Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington, MA (190 Main St, Wilmington, MA 01887). All on-ice camp practices are open to the public and to members of the media.

On Tuesday, July 7, the camp will begin with medical and physical testing for the players at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington. These sessions will be closed to the public.

The first on-ice training session will be held at 9:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 8 at Ristuccia Arena. Following the on-ice practice, players will participate in an off-ice workout at 12:00 noon. Later that day, the players will take a trip to Fenway Park to see the Boston Red Sox take on the Oakland A’s at 7:10 p.m. ET.

Skating will commence again on Thursday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m. ET followed by a second on-ice skill session at 11:15 a.m. ET.

On Friday, July 10, the Bruins will skate at 9:30 a.m. ET followed by an on-ice skill session at 11:30 a.m. ET. After the on-ice skill session ends, the players will have an off-ice workout at 12:30 p.m.

Also on Friday, the prospects will give back to the Greater Boston Community by making an appearance at the Cronin Skating Rink in Revere, MA from 3:00-5:00 p.m. ET (850 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere, MA 02151). While at the rink the players will participate and give instruction to youth hockey players during cross-ice games as well as a special one hour Squirt and Pee Wee Scrimmage. Youth hockey players can win the chance to compete against the Bruins rookies through an online contest on BostonBruins.com beginning June 29.

The final training sessions will take place on Saturday, July 11 with the on-ice workout at 9:30 a.m. ET, and an off-ice training session at 12:00 noon ET.
