Flames sign Three

Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the signing of T.J. Brodie, Greg Nemisz and Keith Seabrook.

Brodie, a native of Chatham, Ontario, spent the past three seasons as a member of the Saginaw Spirit accumulating 16 goals and 68 assists for 84 points in 151 games. Brodie is just under a point-per-game in the post season having registered three goals and 10 assists for 13 points in 15 games. Brodie has been invited to attend Team Canada’s World Junior Camp in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan later this summer.


Nemisz, a native of Courtice, Ontario, is fresh of a Memorial Cup Championship with the Windsor Spitfires. Originally a 1st round pick of the Calgary Flames (25th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Nemisz has also been invited to attend Team Canada’s World Junior Camp in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan later this summer.

Seabrook, a native of Delta, BC, spent the past two seasons as a member of the Calgary Hitmen. During his two year stint with the Hitmen, Seabrook accumulated 72 points in 123 regular season games and another 20 points in 32 playoff games.
