Reimer Commits to Michigan State

Press Release

The Canmore Eagles are very pleased to announce that 19-year-old Centre Lee Reimer has committed to attend Michigan State. Lee is currently in his second season with the Eagles, playing in 81 regular season games and accumulating 35 goals and 48 assists, for 83 points. He currently sits 5th in league scoring.

“Lee is a very hard working player who combines a tremendous amount of skill with a very intelligent game,” said Eagles General Manager and Head Coach Andrew Milne. “The organization is very proud of Lee and his accomplishments, and we would like to congratulate him and his family. We look forward to his continued contribution to our program as he prepares for what will be a very successful collegiate career with the Spartan hockey program”.

Michigan State had the following to say about the Landmark, Manitoba native, “We are excited to add Lee to the Spartan hockey program. Recruiting is not only about finding good players, but also about filling needs on your roster for coming years. We think that Lee will bring positive attributes to our program. We currently have a young team, and are excited about adding a promising young player to that mix for the coming seasons.”

Reimer (6’0, 170 lbs) is a strong skater who moves the puck well. The coaching staff views him as a complete player who will contribute once he adjusts to the speed and strength in the college game.

The entire Canmore Eagles organization would like to congratulate Lee and his family.
