Des Moines Buccaneers forward Mike Fink has committed to Bowling Green State University and will attend the school beginning in the fall of 2010.

The 19-year-old is playing in his third USHL season and has registered 26 points (8g, 18a) in 53 games for the Bucs while also serving as alternate captain for the club. His 18 assists are a career high. Over 144 career games in the League split between Des Moines and Waterloo, the native of Minnetonka, Minnesota has collected 54 points (20g, 34a).

Tri-City Storm forward Brett Mohler and Storm defenseman Michael Montrose are also committed to play for the Bowling Green Falcons.

Bowling Green State University is a member of the CCHA and had nine former USHL players on the roster for the 2009-10 season; Kyle Page (Indiana Ice), David Solway (Sioux Falls Stampede), James Perkin (Lincoln Stars), Ian Ruel (Omaha Lancers), Marc Rodriguez (Sioux Falls Stampede), Andrew Krelove (Des Moines Buccaneers), Jordan Samuels-Thomas (Waterloo Black Hawks), Max Grover (Sioux Falls Stampede), and Robert Shea (Green Bay Gamblers).
