Luke Mahura Signs with Prince Albert Raiders

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce they have signed right winger Luke Mahura to a standard Western Hockey League education contract.

The Raiders selected Mahura in the second round, 28th overall in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft in Edmonton in April.

Mahura, from St. Albert, Alberta, played this past season with the Gregg Distributors Sabres in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League.

Mahura, 5’9”, 160 pounds finished 7th overall in the Alberta Major Bantam League in scoring with 39 goals and 29 assists for 68 points in 33 games for the Sabres to go along with 56 minutes in penalties.

“We are extremely pleased to have Luke under contract,” said Bruno Campese, Raider Head Coach and General Manager. He is a skilled forward that will compliment
the last two draft seasons extremely well.
