Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the team has acquired defensemen Jamie Doornbosch from the Peterborough Petes.
In acquiring Doornbosch the Rangers also receive the Petes 15th round pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. Kitchener sends a 13th round pick in 2012 and 4th round pick in the 2014 Draft.
Doornbosch accumulated 12 goals and 38 assists in 68 regular season games with the Petes last year.
