CORPUS CHRISTI ANNOUNCES FOUR ROSTER MOVES

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi IceRays General Manager Pat Dunn announced today that the team has finalized four separate transactions.

First, the team has acquired forwards Jordan Miller (Trenton, MI) and Ryan Gauthier (Glenwood Springs, CO). Both were added to the team’s 23-man roster.

Secondly, the team announced that defensemen Luc Neitenbach (Brighton, CO) and Nikita Kardashev (Minsk, Belarus) were released.

Miller, 19, spent the last two seasons with the Alpena IceDiggers (NAHL). Last season, the 6’1, 177 lb. forward tallied five goals and six assists for 11 points in 24 games played before an injury caused him to miss the remainder of the season. Miller will wear #11 and has joined the team.

Gauthier, 18, was acquired from the Boulder Jr. Bison (WSHL), a Tier-III USA Junior Hockey team. Through 15 games played this season, Gauthier led his team in scoring as he collected nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points. Gauthier is expected to join the team this weekend.

Neitenbach, 20, was released after playing 14 games in Corpus Christi. He had one assist.

Kardashev, 18, was acquired from the Tri-City Americans (WHL) on October 30, 2010 and in eight games played, tallied one assist.
