Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 18 year-old defenceman Antoine (AN-twan) Corbin from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for the Raiders 3rd round selection in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Corbin, originally from Montreal is in his second season with the Rockets. He was a fifth round selection of the Rockets in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft and will wear #18 for the Raiders.
“Bringing Antoine in adds depth to our defensive corps,” commented Raiders General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. “He is a big bodied defenceman with a heavy shot.”
Corbin will join the Raiders for their Central Division road trip starting Friday night in Lethbridge.
