Springfield, MA- The Springfield Pics are proud to announce that J.D. Carrabino has committed to Clarkson University for next fall. A 1991-born native of New Canaan, CT, the 6’6” 230lb defensemen is currently second among defensemen in scoring with a 3-19-22 line in 22 EJHL games.
“I am extremely proud and look forward to joining the Golden Knights program; I want to thank Coach Tabb, Coach Daniels and my family for giving me the opportunity and guidance to earn a college scholarship,” stated Carrabino
Carrabino was recently ranked 203rdby NHL Central Scouting on their mid-term rankings for North American skaters for the upcoming 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
“We would like to congratulate J.D. and his family on this accomplishment. He has all the tools to be an impact college player with pro potential,” commented GM/Coach Patrick Tabb.
