The Otters have recalled 2009 draft pick Johnny McGuire from the Lindsay Muskies

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that they have recalled forward Johnny McGuire from the Lindsay Muskies of the Ontario Junior A Hockey League. The announcement was made by Otters general manager Sherwood Bassin.

McGuire nine points (5g, 4a) and a team-leading 84 penalty minutes in 36 games with the Muskies this season. Last season, McGuire played with the Little Britain Merchants of the Junior C-level Central Ontario Hockey League, amassing 11 points (4g, 7a) and 60 penalty minutes in 28 games.

A 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward from Lindsay, McGuire was selected by the Otters in the 12th round with the 230th overall pick of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection. He will wear No. 21 with the Erie Otters.
