Dyck puts up seven points in two games as Langley wins twice

Langley Chiefs forward Darnell Dyck has been named the British Columbia Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending February 13, the league announced Monday.

Dyck led the Chiefs to two wins in as many games as Langley's offence exploded for 16 goals. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Chilliwack native had a big night in an 8-2 win over the Merritt Centennials, producing two goals and four assists to take first star. He also had a goal in the team's 8-5 win over the Coquitlam Express.

Dyck is now fifth in Chiefs scoring and has 56 points in 57 games on the campaign.

Honourable mentions this week go to Westside Warriors defenceman Tom Kroshus (three games, two goals, three assists, one 1st Star), Victoria Grizzlies forward Kyle St. Denis (three games, four goals, four assists, one 1st Star, two 3rd Stars) and Penticton Vees forward Mark MacMillan (three games, two goals, four assists, two 1st Stars).
