FORMER PREP STAR ACQUIRED IN TRADE WITH LINCOLN STARS

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Ice announced today that the team has acquired forward Ryan Cole from the Lincoln Stars for future considerations.

Cole skated in 12 games with the Stars and posted two assists. He made his USHL debut this year after a successful prep career at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire, were he was the team’s top goal scorer last season with 29 markers to go along with 22 assists.

“He is a very competitive player with a great shot as well,” said Ice head coach Kyle Wallack. “In addition, his overall enthusiasm for the game will definitely help our program.”

Cole and the rest of his new Ice teammates travel to Green Bay, WI for a Wednesday night match-up with the Gamblers. The Ice returns home this Friday and Saturday to the Pepsi Coliseum for dates with the Sioux City Musketeers and Fargo Force at 7:05 pm.
