Bulls shuffle picks with Peterborough

Press Release

BELLEVILLE, ON - In the second trade of the day, Bulls Head Coach and General Manager George Burnett announced that the team has sent the 42nd overall pick in the 2012 CHL Import Draft that the Bulls acquired earlier on Tuesday to the Peterborough Petes.

The Petes receive the 42nd pick in exchange for their 7th round pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection and the 69th overall pick in the CHL Import Draft.

Belleville currently has one European player on the roster in Daniil Zharkov who was a third round selection of the Edmonton Oilers this past weekend in the 2012 NHL Draft.

Peterborough also has one in Slovakian defenceman Petr Ceresnak. 19 year-old forward Lino Martschini signed a two-year contract with EV Zug of the Swiss Elite League in March and will join his new team in the fall.

The Bulls now hold both the 69th and 87th picks in Wednesday's CHL Import Draft.
