The Cowichan Valley Capitals are pleased to announce Dave Johnston will join the coaching staff as an assistant to Head Coach Jim Ingram for the 2012-13 BCHL Season.
Johnston comes to the Caps from the Oceanside Generals of the VIJHL, where he guided the Jr. B franchise to three League championships (1992, 1997 and 2009) and a bronze medal at the Cyclone Taylor Cup in 2009.
The official announcement was made by General Manager Jim Ingram who was joined by Johnston and Team President Stew Gordon prior to the Capitals Annual Golf Tournament that took place Friday afternoon at Cowichan Golf and Country Club.
