Doull to Coach Commandos

The Dieppe Commandos Hockey Club has confirmed that Doug Doull will join the organization as an assistant coach.

Doug has a great hockey background having played professional hockey for over 6 years and having coached at various levels including the CIS, ECHL and the American Hockey League.

The new member of the Commandos hockey team recently moved in our community after a job transfer and was looking to get back to coaching and helping young prospects achieve their goals.

"We are obviously very excited to have Doug on board. He brings lots of experience and has a true passion for the game. Myself, our head coach Jeff LeBlanc and the rest of our staff look forward to working with Doug to improve each one of our players and keep building our team identity," said Jean-Francois Damphousse, General Manager of the Commandos.

Here are a few facts on Doug Doull:

Won 2 Calder Cups in the American Hockey League (2001 Saint John, 2006 Hershey)
Played in the Washington Capitals, Phoenix Coyotes, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames organisations.
Played for the Saint Mary’s University Men’s Varsity Hockey team for 3 seasons
During his 2 seasons on the coaching staff at Saint Mary’s University, the team recorded 42 wins and 14 losses.
