VEES HIRE TRAINER

PENTICTON, BC– The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce the addition of Dan McDowell as the new Head Trainer / Equipment Manager for the upcoming season.

Dan comes from Kanata, Ontario with a wealth of experience, including working with the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canadian Hockey League for the past seventeen years. Dan has been named the CCHL Trainer of the Year four times, most recently in 2011.

Dan’s experience in hockey is extensive, working for the Raiders, Ottawa District Hockey Association, Ottawa 67’s, Team Ontario Provincial program and being involved in the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championships.

“We are excited to add someone with Dan’s experience to our staff and I look forward to working with him this season,” states Vees Head Coach & GM Fred Harbinson. “His resume speaks for itself, as his expertise and knowledge will enhance our program and most importantly I can be ensured our player’s safety needs are met.”

Dan and his wife Brenda will be relocating to the South Okanagan in early August ahead of the Vees Prep Camp.
