White commits to Slammers

Press Release

The Woodstock Slammers are proud to announce that forward Alex White (94) has made his commitment to play for the Slammers this fall.

The Goose Bay, Newfoundland native recorded 26 goals and 28 assists in 32 games to lead the Ontario Hockey Academy and the OEMHL league in scoring. The OHA Mavericks won the OEMHL Playoff Championship. "Alex is a highly skilled player, but plays with grit and tenacity. Alex is a type of player that will go to the dirty areas to score goals. We are extremely happy that Alex decided to play in Woodstock and we know Alex will be a quality person for us on and off the ice. We believe the Woodstock Slammers are a better hockey team today with the addition of Alex.

Alex White had this to say about joining the Slammers "coming together as a team is a beginning, keeping together is a progress and working together is success. It is an honor to be chosen to be a member of the Woodstock Slammers organization and I am looking forward to a successful season".
