Attack Acquire Chiarlitti

Press Release

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce they have acquired overage defenseman Nathan Chiarlitti (Shar-lit-ee) from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for a 2nd Round Pick in 2015, a 5th Round Pick in 2013 and a 10th Round Pick in 2014.

Chiarlitti, a native of Maple, ON. served as the Captain of the Sarnia Sting for the 2011/2012 season where he notched 4 goals, 11 assists and finished the season with a +5 rating. The 6’1, 186lb rearguard is a veteran of four OHL seasons, all with the Sarnia Sting. During his tenure in the OHL, Nathan has amassed 14 goals, 42 assists for 56 points in 245 regular season games played.

“Nathan brings a wealth of experience and ability to the ice surface and character to our dressing room.”, stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. “He has proven leadership qualities and we are thrilled to have him as a part of our organization.”

Chiarlitti is the second Sarnia Sting player to be acquired by the Attack this off season as Dale DeGray previously swung a deal to land goaltender Brandon Hope. The acquisition of Nathan currently gives the Attack four potential overage players for the 2012/2013 season.
