North Stars Release Training Camp Schedule

North Battleford, SK – The Battlefords North Stars have announced the dates for the team’s 2012 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Training Camp.

The Camp will begin with Registration and fitness testing on Friday August 31st at 11:00 AM. The day will conclude with on ice practices, scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM.

On Saturday, September 1st, both teams in camp will play game one of three scrimmages at 9:00 AM. Off-ice fitness testing will continue that afternoon and the day will conclude with game two at 7:00 PM.

Day three of camp on September 2nd will begin with the final game at 9:00 AM followed by individual player meetings. The North Stars will travel to Wainwright, AB, to play the Lloydminster Bobcats of the AJHL, scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM at the Peace Memorial Multiplex for game 1 of 5 exhibition games scheduled for the pre-season.

All on ice sessions are open to the public. The two home exhibition games to be played at the Civic Center are scheduled for Saturday, September 8th, at 7:30 PM versus the Melfort Mustangs, and Saturday, September 15th, at 7:30 PM against the defending SJHL Champion Humboldt Broncos.


The North Stars will open the 2012/13 SJHL Regular Season on Friday, September 21st, in Kindersley at 7:30 PM, and will host the Kindersley Klippers on Saturday, September 22nd, for their annual Home Opener. For information regarding the Training Camp or to purchase Season Tickets, please contact:
