Cougars Team Up With Factory Hockey

Press Release

The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce a two-year partnership with Factory Hockey Training. Factory Hockey Training will work closely with the Prince George Cougars to ensure that they receive high quality off-ice strength and conditioning along with on-ice skill development.

“We’re excited to be working alongside Factory Hockey Training for the next two seasons,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “Factory Hockey Training provides our players with a unique training experience that will help them both on and off the ice.”

Per the Factory Hockey Training website, The Factory’s goal is to have their players leave the program not only confident athletes; but better hockey players. To achieve this they have designed unique off-ice stick handling regimes that are integrated into the daily weight complexes. Hand eye, peripheral vision, and quick hands drills are practiced relentlessly. A real hockey environment is created: encouragement, loud music, sweat, and the desire to get better every day.

“Factory Hockey Training would like to thank the Prince George Cougars for the opportunity to provide our unique approach to in-season strength & conditioning for their players,” said Troy Dalton, Factory Hockey Training Founder. “Having worked with dozens of WHL players in the past, we have an understanding of the exceptional calibre of the league and the demands it places on the players.”

The Prince George Cougars  training will be headed by Kris Russell, a Factory Hockey strength Coach.
