Wild 16U forward Koukis signs NAHL tender

Press Release

The Wenatchee Wild 16U team of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is pleased to announce that forward Chris Koukis has signed an NAHL tender with Wenatchee’s NAHL club.

Koukis, 16, is currently second on the team in scoring with six points (3 goals, 3 assists) in eight games played to date in the NAPHL.  The native of Brentwood, California, is currently riding a three-game goal scoring streak, which came during the NAPHL event in San Jose, California, during late October.  The Wild put together a 3-1-0 record at the event and currently sit in a tie for 4th place in the NAPHL’s 16U White Division with a 4-2-2 record.

Koukis (5’11/161) played last season for the Pursuit of Excellence 18U team as a 15-year-old, where he had two goals in 13 games played.  Back in 2010, Koukis was drafted by the Swift Current Broncos in the Western Hockey League’s Bantam Draft as a 14-year-old.
