Steel Defenseman Makes College Commitment

Press Release

Chicago Steel defenseman Bill Eiserman has committed to play hockey at Bentley College beginning next fall.

Eiserman has put up three points (2g, 1a) in 11 games since joining the Steel in late December.  He netted his two goals in the 6-3 loss against Green Bay on January 6th, which were the first two tallies of his USHL career.  The 20-year-old from Newburyport, Massachusetts first played in the USHL during the 2010-11 season and collected four assists in 54 games with the Tri-City Storm.

The 6-0, 200-pound defenseman spent last season and the first half of this season playing college hockey at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

Bentley College is located in Walthan, Massachusetts and is a member of Atlantic Hockey.  Five USHL alumni are on the Falcons roster this season; Andrew Fitzstephens (Chicago Steel), Brett Gensler (Youngstown/Cedar Rapids), Jared Rickford (Cedar Rapids RoughRiders), Alex Kubiak (Chicago/Green Bay), and Gabe Antoni (Dubuque Fighting Saints).
