Press Release
The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that the Ontario Hockey League
has handed overage forward Daniel Zweep a five game suspension.
The incident occurred at the end of the second period on February 23rd’s
game against the Saginaw Spirit where Zweep was issued a five minute
major for cross checking. On the very same play, an opposition player
was issued a minor for slashing. The league reviewed the play over the
course of the week and deemed the cross check suspendable.
Attack officials would not comment on the suspension.
Zweep will be eligible to return on March 9th against the Erie Otters.
