Brooks Bandits and Okotoks Oilers Battle for South Division Title

 The Brooks Bandits and Okotoks Oilers will open the South Division Final in Brooks, Alberta on Friday, March 29th.  The South Division Champion will advance to the League Final and battle North Division Champion for the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Cup.Brooks finished the season on top of the South Division and earned a first round bye for the second straight year as Regular Season Champions.  The Bandits posted a regular season record of 53-4-3 and 109 points.  Okotoks finished 2nd in the South Division standings with 80 points and a 38-18-4 record.

The Brooks Bandits defeated the Drumheller Dragons in Game 5 of the South Division Semi-Finals to earn their spot in the Division Final.  The Okotoks Oilers eliminated the Olds Grizzlys in Round One of the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs, before sweeping the Camrose Kodiaks in the South Division Semi-Finals.

During the regular season, Brooks won four of six games versus Okotoks, with the Oilers winning the final two meetings of the season.

The Spruce Grove Saints and Whitecourt Wolverines will compete for the North Division title in the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs beginning on Thursday, March 28th in Spruce Grove.

Round Three: League Semi-Finals
The remaining two teams in each division will playoff for the title of Division Champion and advance to the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Cup Final.

The highest ranked seed is awarded home ice advantage in the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs.

Round Four - AJHL Gas Drive Cup: League Final
The North Division Champion and the South Division Champion will compete in the League Final for the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Cup.
