The Grande Prairie Storm are very pleased to announce they have signed a
two year contract extension with Head Coach Blaine Bablitz. Bablitz
enters his 3rd season as the team's Head Coach, in addition to four
years as an Assistant Coach with the club.
In his first year (2011-2012) as Head Coach, Bablitz guided the team to
21-39 record, making the playoffs as the 7th seed in the AJHL North
Division. This past season marked an impressive 28 point increase in the
standings, with Bablitz coaching the Storm to a 35-21-4 record, good
for 2nd in the tough AJHL North.
