Cents Hire Hayley Hill As Athletic Therapist & Equipment Manager

Press Release

The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the hiring of Hayley Hill as their new Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager.

She replaces Kyla Knox who moved away from hockey earlier this off-season.

Hill worked this past season with the SJHL league finalist Humbolt Broncos, where she served in the same capacity. She also helped out as an Athletic Therapist at the 2011 Memorial Cup and has worked with the OJHL's Wellington Dukes and Markham Waxers.

“We are excited to have Hayley on board for this upcoming season. Finding a qualified therapist and equipment manager at this level is not easy, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found a quality trainer in Hayley," said Cents Head Coach and General Manager Luke Pierce. "In speaking with Dean Brockman in Humbolt, he had nothing but positive things to say about Hayley and is sad to see her go. I respect Dean’s willingness to allow Hayley the opportunity to move West and we are excited to have her join us for Main Camp in August.”

"I am extremely excited to be starting this next chapter of my career in Merritt," Hill said. "I look forward to working with all the talented players and coaches in the Centennials organization and can't wait to start the season in beautiful British Columbia."
