Kings' coaching staff returning

Press Release

Following on the heels of the contract extension of Head Coach and General Manager, Marlin Murray, the Dauphin Kings Junior A Hockey Club has finalized the contracts of two more members of its staff:  Marc Berry and Tyrol Deeg.

Marc Berry has served as Assistant Coach and Marketing Director for the past three seasons, and has been promoted to Assistant General Manager in addition to his marketing duties.  Berry will now help guide the Kings through the next 3 seasons, which will include the 2014 Western Canada Cup next May.

“With the year we have coming up, hosting the WCC, this was a natural title to take on” stated Marc Berry on his new position. “Marlin has been very good about including me in a lot of the decision making since I started with the Kings. I’m looking forward to my expanded role. It’s been a great experience so far here in Dauphin.”

Also re-signing with the coaching staff is 6-year veteran Trainer and Equipment Manager, Tyrol Deeg.  He has agreed to stay on with the team for the 2013-14 season.
