Periera Signs Pro Contract

Miguel Pereira with continue his hockey career in the southern France city of Grenoble. Pereira has signed a pro contract to play with Les Brûleurs de Loups of the French Elite League.

Pereira joined the Red Wings in 2011-12 season and went on to score 42 goals and add another 50 assists in the 86 games he played over the two seasons he was here.

Former Red Wing Jean Francois Dufour has been coaching Les Brûleurs de Loups (Burning Wolves) for several years and was integral in getting Periera to the Red Wings two seasons ago. Many Red Wing fans will remember the Schurack, Dorey, Dufour line that scored 144 goals and 367 points as a line back in 1997.
