Wolves main camp begins Sunday

The Sudbury Wolves will host their 2013 OHL MAIN CAMP this weekend beginning on Sunday, September 1st at the Sudbury Arena.  Wolves' Director of Player Personnel BRYAN VERREAULT and Wolves' Skills Coach MIKE KING, will put 25 hopefuls through their paces with off-ice testing and a one hour practice.

On Monday, the Wolves will host two scrimmage sessions with the first session taking place at 10 a.m at the Sudbury Arena. Teams will reconvene at 3:00 pm for another scrimmage session at the Sudbury Arena. Players returning from the World Jr. Cup Tournament in Russia will join-in to give the Wolves a full complement of 44 players attending camp.

A number of Wolves' players will miss the training camp as they make their way to NHL PRO CAMPS including: NICK BAPTISTE, DOMINIK KUBALIK, MATHEW CAMPAGNA, KEVIN RAINE and BRODY SILK. Silk, 18, is doubtful to attend pro camp due to a shoulder injury sustained at the tournament in Russia.

On Tuesday, the Wolves will host their annual Blue & White scrimmage game at 10 a.m. at the Sudbury Arena and management will announce decisions on players that will be remaining to participate in practices and the Wolves' first pre-season OHL game on Friday, Sept. 6th versus the Kitchener Rangers at the Sudbury arena.  Game time is 7:30 pm.
