One of the most popular events for MJHL fans is returning for its 10th season ─ the Old Dutch-MJHL Showcase Weekend.
“This event is well attended by university scouts throughout Canada
and the United States,” said MJHL Commissioner Kim Davis. “The feedback
we receive after this event is very positive. I know the scouts like to
see the event in one venue, while fans have the opportunity to watch all
11 MJHL teams during a single weekend. It’s really a hockey fan’s
ultimate dream.
“The players in our league enjoy this event, which provides them an excellent opportunity to showcase their talents.”
The Old Dutch-MJHL Showcase Weekend kicks off Thursday, Oct. 3 at the MTS IcePlex. Games continue Friday and Saturday.
