The
Ontario Junior Hockey League today released the online, downloadable
(low resolution) edition 2013-14 OJHL Guide & Record Book that
features St. Michael's Buzzers captain Patrick McCarron and OJHL MVP
Tyler Gjurich of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres on the cover.
Initially
released to the media at the 2013 Governors' Showcase weekend in
Oakville, Ontario, the Guide & Record Book is not for sale to the
public this year and hard copies were produced in a limited print run
for our media members/partners.
Expanded
to 200 pages, the new Guide & Record Book has a more in-depth look
into the league's history, dating back to the original OJHL (1972-73 to
1986-87) and the old SOJHL (1970-71 to 1976-77), while also recapping
the exciting 2012-13 OJHL season and the St. Michael's Buzzers
championship. Full of pictures and information, the guide has become a
source of information for media, team personnel, the players and fans
alike.
As
with any publication of this size and nature, errors and omissions do
happen from time-to-time, and we ask that anyone finding such errors,
clarifications or omissions, please contact the editor
(iwestgate@theojhl.ca) or league office directly, so we can make the
appropriate corrections for next year's guide.
As
well, one of the priorities is to create a full and accurate history of
the league and its member clubs. As such, if you have data pertaining
to any of the missing information or further team history, we ask that
you please contact us.
Both the 2011-12 and 2012-13 OJHL Guide & Record Books will also be available for download in the coming weeks.
