St. Michael's roster changes

Press Release 

The Buzzers have moved 1994 G Bo Bessette to the Newmarket Hurricanes in exchange for 1995 F Thomas Beretta. In a seperate move, the Buzzers acquired 1993 G Victor Adamo of the Surrey Eagles (BCHL).

GM Rich Ricci has these comments.............

"We are sad to see Bo Bessette move on but we feel he has an opportunity to be a starter in Newmarket. Bo is a class act and we remain very pleased with his play and the way he carried himself as a teammate. We had to give up a good player to get a good player. In 1995 Fwd Thomas Beretta, we are getting a recent SMCS Grad ('13). He is a big, strong and dedicated player who understands the St. Michael's culture. He had a lengthy playoff run last year and has been an important piece of this years Newmarket Hurricanes. An outstanding student, Thomas looks to pursue the next level of an NCAA scholarship."

"Incoming Victor Adamo is a seasoned veteran goalie with stops in the OJHL and BCHL. Vic is a competitor and an outstanding goalie, he's been a winner every year he has played. Last year, as the #1 in Trenton, Vic posted an 18-6-4 record, was 3-1 in Surrey and has 73 career junior regular season wins. I expect him and Georgey to be pillars in net as they both pursue the NCAA."
