Express's Rockwood, BCHL's leading assist getter, heading to Wisconsin

After setting up teammates all season, Coquitlam Express forward Adam Rockwood has set himself up for an NCAA future by committing to the University of Wisconsin.

The hometown Coquitlam product leads the BCHL with 49 assists on the season and will head to college for the coming season.

Rockwood's 60 points put him fourth overall in league scoring.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound playmaker is the eighth Express player to accept a scholarship. He will join current rival Matt Ustaski of the Langley Rivermen with the Badgers next season.

Wisconsin currently has  on their roster in forwards Mark Zengerle, Jedd Soleway and Morgan Zulinick and goalie Joel Rumpel.

The Badgers compete in the newly created Big 10 conference which includes Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Minnesota.
