The St. Louis Selects of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce that 16U forward Austin Rueschhoff has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Minnesota Wilderness. The Wilderness compete in the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
Rueschhoff, 16, is in his second season with the Selects 16U team.
The 6’5/190 lbs. forward from Wentzville, Missouri, recorded 29 points
in 19 NAPHL games this season. Rueschhoff ranked 3rd in points and in
goals and was second on the team in assists this season.
In 41 career NAPHL regular season games, Rueschhoff has 43 career
points in 41 career games. He also scored six points in five playoff
games last year. Rueschhoff lead the St. Louis Selects 16U team to a
12-6-2 record this season as they finished 7th in the 16U Division.
They will be a part of the NAPHL Gold Division playoffs for the first
time in team history.
Earlier this season, Rueschoff was selected to take part in the
inaugural NAPHL 16U All-Star Game, which was held in Blaine, Minnesota
on December 8th.
He is the third member from the St. Louis Selects organization to
sign an NAHL tender this season and the first player from the 16U team
to do so.
