Harrington and four others sign with London

London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter is pleased to announce that the team has signed 16-year-old defencemen Scott Harrington and Jake Worrad, 15-year-old forward Dane Fox, 16-year-old forward Seth Griffith, and free agent goaltender Michael Houser to Ontario Hockey League Contracts.

Harrington, 16 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Greater Kingston Minor Midget Team. Harrington was the Knights 1st Round Selection (19th Overall) at the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Harrington also appeared in 20 games for the Kingston Voyageurs of the OJHL and participated in the 2009 Royal Bank Cup. Harrington stands 6.00 and 200 lbs and resides in Kingston , Ontario.

Worrad, 16 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs Minor Midgets. Worrad was the Knights 2nd Round Selection at the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Worrad stands 5.10 and weighs 180 lbs and resides in Birr, Ontario.

Fox, 15 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Chatham Kent Cyclones Minor Midgets. Fox was the Knights 3 rd Round Selection at the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Fox stands 5.11 and weighs 170 lbs and resides in Thamesville, Ontario.

Griffith , 16 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Chatham Kent Cyclones Minor Midgets. Griffith was the Knights 4th Round Selection at the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Griffith stands 5.10 and weighs 180 lbs and resides in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

Houser, 16 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League. He is a graduate of the Detroit Little Caesars Minor Hockey Program.

All five players participated in the London Knights Mini Camp held on May 30th , 2009 and will attend the London Knights Training Camp in August, 2009.
