The Three Rivers Vengeance, proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), have announced that forward Alex Berardinelli has signed an NAHL tender with the Michigan Warriors of the NAHL’s North Division.
The 17-year-old from Export, Pennsylvania, has had an outstanding
season so far for the Vengeance, who currently occupy 2nd place in the
NA3HL’s East Division. Berardinelli (5’9/165) has 47 points (21 goals,
26 assists) to date, which ranks 2nd on the Vengeance roster and 5th
overall in the NA3HL. Berardinelli also ranks tied for 6th or better in
the NA3HL in power play goals (7), plus/minus (+28), game-winning goals
(5) and total goals (21).
Twice already this season, Berardinelli has been honored as one of
the NA3HL’s 3 Stars of the Week. Back on September 14th he was the #2
star of the week and on December 26th he was the #3 star of the week.
Berardinelli has registered at least a point in all but six games this
season and has 15 multi-point games this season.
Last year, Berardinelli had a 50-point season as a 16-year-old as
was also a member of Team East at the 2012 NA3HL Top Prospects
Tournament in Frisco, TX last May. Team East won the event with a 3-1-0
record and Berardinelli recorded an assist in the four games.
“The one thing that really stands out about Alex is his
consistancy,” said Vengeance head coach Brian Cersosimo. “He is able to
make his linemates better and can put up points in all situations.”
