To my knowledge, Ottawa will not be releasing Karlsson. He was called up on Saturday to rejoin the Sens and they demoted Brian Lee (who was actually playing well).
They have 7 Defensemen right now and Anton Volchenkov is due back this week. Someone will be the odd man out. So while its conceivable that letting Karlsson play in the 2 week tournament, I really doubt they'll do it. Nice work though.
