Gauthier-Leduc, Devos and Mosher are the TELUS three stars of the month

Press Release

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today the TELUS three stars of the month.

The first star is awarded to defenseman Jérôme Gauthier-Leduc of the Rimouski Océanic. Gauthier-Leduc registered points in each of his last 10 games, something no other defenseman has been able to accomplish this season. During his last regular season game on March 20th against Victoriaville, the 18 year-old recorded his first career hat-trick.

In addition to being a finalist for the Michel-Brière (most valuable player) and Frank J. Selke (Sportsman of the Year) trophies for the much anticipated Golden Puck awards, Philip-Michaël Devos is also the second star of the month. The Gatineau centre recorded at least one point in his last 11 games. In total, he scored 5 goals, added 9 assists and recorded a +10 rating.

Finally, PEI Rocket goaltender Evan Mosher gets the third star. He helped his team amass 13 out of a possible 18 points in the standings, thus enabling the Rocket to register a .722 winning percentage during the month of March. He had his second shutout of the season against the Screaming Eagles on March 2nd and has spent over 3266 minutes in nets this season. He played more minutes than any other goaltender during the 2010-11 season.
